24 Hour Plumber in Vergennes : FAQs
Do you actually answer the phone at night?
Yes. A real person, every call, every hour.
How long until you arrive?
Depends on location within Vergennes and current dispatch load. We give you an honest ETA when you call.
Is the emergency rate really that much more?
It's higher than business-hour rates. We disclose the rate before sending a tech so there are no surprises.
Can you stop the leak if I can't find my shutoff?
Often, yes. We can talk you through locating it, or once we arrive we can shut off at the supply if needed.
Will you come out for a clogged toilet at midnight?
If it's the only toilet in the house and it's overflowing, yes. If you have another bathroom and the situation is contained, we may suggest scheduling for morning at the regular rate.
What Counts as a Plumbing Emergency — and What Doesn't
A true emergency is anything causing active damage or creating a health and safety risk. Active water flow you can't stop. Sewage entering living space. Gas leaks. No water in a household where someone is medically dependent on it.
Things that feel urgent but usually aren't true emergencies include a single dripping faucet, a slow drain, a running toilet you've been ignoring for two days...
Our standing rule when you call us in Vergennes is this. If you're not sure, ask. We'll tell you honestly whether the situation needs a 24 hour plumber tonight or a scheduled visit tomorrow at the standard rate.
Don't Wait. Call a 24 Hour Plumber in Vergennes Now.
If water is running, sewage is backing up, or your water heater is failing, call now. We are answering. A technician is available. Limited slots fill up fast on busy nights — call Dawe's Plumbing Service in Vergennes before the next emergency call books out the schedule.
